After attending the University of the Pacific, McGeorge School of Law and graduating at the top of his class in May of 2012, Travis was admitted to the California Bar that same year. Travis was admitted to the practice of law in Nevada in 2014.
At the beginning of his career, Travis clerked for Northern Nevada judges, including the Honorable Thomas L. Stockard, Robert E. Estes, and the late N. Patrick Flanagan, and worked on projects with Nevada Supreme Court Justice Lidia S. Stiglich.
